What a year it’s been! We won’t be forgetting 2024 anytime soon, from massive product releases to adding some fantastic new Tenzions to the team and the amazing brands we’ve signed.

As has become somewhat of a tradition, we’re taking a moment to look back on what the last year has held for Tenzo.

The Tenzo Community!

Our year was jam-packed with in-person events – from customers to partners across London. It’s the people who make hospitality the fun and exciting industry it is and we were incredibly fortunate to get together with industry pioneers in 2024. 

We started in January with our Ops-focused event, along with three consultant events throughout the year, our April event where we brought together our consultant network and customers and finished with our recent partner awards in November, where we wrapped up the year by toasting our incredible partners who made it all happen!

It didn’t stop there. 

We ran product workshop events, in person and virtually, to ensure customers get the most value from Tenzo and our customer panel with Hart’s group, Noble Group, and Redemptions Roasters to hear the challenges operators are facing and share their plans to combat them. Our CEO, Christian Mouysset, went on quite the podcast tour, from Tech on Toast’s episode on forecasting the future in hospitality to Captive Wifi’s podcast on revolutionising restaurant operations with real-time data.

We participated in the inaugural Hospitality Innovation event, which was put together by the Innovation Working Group and the Hospitality Sector Council and facilitated by Oxford Brookes Business School, UKHospitality and Jane O’Riordan.

Blazing through our product roadmap

To say 2024 was a big year for our product development would be an understatement. Let’s jump straight in with some highlights!

We massively overhauled existing features, including Alerts, to enable operators to set thresholds on the KPIs important to their performance and subsequently get notified when these KPIs go above or below the threshold set.

We released Card Wizard, a step-by-step tool for teams to explore and discover reports. Want even more customisation? No worries—we released Card Creator for greater flexibility to tailor a report from scratch or edit an existing card in Tenzo.

Yet again, we didn’t stop there.

To ensure our product features enhanced communication through an organisation is our new email framework. The ability to email cards and dashboards to specific user groups. Either as a one-off or automate them.

Growing our partner ecosystem

We are constantly looking to grow our integrations, and 2025 was no different. We added Procure Wizard, MarginEdge, Opsimize, and improved our Bepoz Inventory, for a total of over 85 partners in our ecosystem.

We upgraded current integrations, including Harri, Planday, Marketman, RotaReady, and Workforce, to the ‘write integration‘ status (Tenzo sales and/or forecast data pushed into partner platforms)!

We held our first Partner Awards in person to celebrate all our partner initiatives.

We got to hang out with the community that helps us wow customers daily and celebrate the partners who went above and beyond this year at our customer venue, Fat Hippo.

Sharing our customers’ success! 

Most importantly, we want to thank our amazing customers! We’re incredibly proud to have maintained our 100% 5-star review rate on Trustpilot. 

Customers continued to optimise their operations with Tenzo. The eighteen sites, Fat Hippo, saw savings of 11% to their bottom line – acting on data daily to pre-empty wastage. As said by Mick Johnson, Operations Director at Fat Hippo “some of the savings are massive year on year. It’s all about pre-empting. You’re on the forefoot. We had the privilege of signing some great brands this year, growing our presence in the hotel space with IHG across Europe and continuing to service restaurants from Joel Robuchon International to Honest Burgers!

What’s in store for 2025?

We’re continuing the momentum for 2025! We’re continuing to push our product with the ability to filter your dashboards and enhance our much-loved logbook feature. An overhaul of our mobile app will ensure our UX is top-tier, and exciting new integrations will be in the works.

We can’t spill any more secrets … just yet, but keep an eye out for the incoming announcements.
